Dashboard and reports (beta)

The dashboard shows today’s figures; the Reports page shows a summary for a date range.

⚠️

Beta.

When to use

  • You want a quick read of today’s sales and kitchen speed.
  • You want to compare a week or month of sales.

Before you start

  • Permission: pos:use for the dashboard; pos:reports for the Reports page.
  • Toggles: none.
  • Dates follow your company’s time zone. A report covers at most 366 days.

Read the numbers

Open the dashboard

Go to F&B → Dashboard (/fnb).

Read revenue and orders

Revenue adds completed and refunded POS sales (refunds subtract) plus completed online orders. Voided sales are left out.

Check the kitchen figures

Read the average kitchen time and the number of tickets still pending.

Open Reports

Go to F&B → Reports (/fnb/reports), choose a date range and read the summary: revenue, order count, average per order and kitchen time.

What is counted

SourceCounted when
POS saleCompleted or refunded, in your company currency, from the shops selected in outlet settings.
Online orderCompleted.
Voided POS saleNever.

Tips & common mistakes

  • If no shops are selected, all POS shops are counted and the screen says so.
  • POS sales in another currency are left out and the number of excluded sales is shown.
  • The covers figure uses the guest count entered on POS sales; it is blank when nobody enters it.
  • The dashboard and reports use the same definition, so they should agree for the same day.
