Close inputs
No open timesheets that must be in the period; leave deductions stamped for this payroll period.
Compute and review
Gross, BHXH, PIT, net. Anomalies vs last period are review items, not silent skips.
Approve and post
Approval posts the payroll journal in Accounting. Voiding later must reverse that journal, not just change a status.
